Mekong Delta 2-Day Tour: My Tho & Can Tho River Life

Depart Ho Chi Minh City in the morning and travel south into the Mekong Delta.

Your first stop is Vinh Trang Pagoda, where European architectural elements blend harmoniously with traditional Vietnamese temple design.

Continue to My Tho Port and cruise along the Tien River, passing floating fish farms and river islets.

On Thoi Son Islet, stroll through village paths and lush orchards. Enjoy seasonal tropical fruits while listening to Đờn ca tài tử, Southern Vietnam’s traditional folk music.

A hand-rowed sampan then takes you through narrow, palm-lined canals to a local honey farm.

Cross into Ben Tre province to observe traditional coconut candy production and browse handmade coconut crafts.

In the late afternoon, transfer to Can Tho for overnight stay.

After lunch, begin the scenic drive back to Ho Chi Minh City.
